‘Raat Jawaan Hai’ trailer reveals hilarious take on parenthood
Directed by Sumeet Vyas, the series stars Barun Sobti, Anjali Anand, and Priya Bapat. Premiering on October 11th, it promises humor and drama in a fresh take on modern life.
Actor Sumeet Vyas, who will tie the knot with Ekta Kaul in Jammu on September 15, has poured his heart out for Humans of Bombay putting words to his love story. He also revealed the moment he realized ‘Ekta is the one’.
The 35-year-old, whose breakthrough role was Mikesh Chaudhary in TVF’s 2014 hit web-series ‘Permanent Roommates’, said, “When we first started dating, I was at sea. How do I impress her? I tried telling her that I’m kind of famous as this character, Mikesh..She was least bothered! People used to approach me for photographs, and she’d wonder why!”
On that one moment that made him realize that she’s the one, he said, “Last year during Holi! I rode my motorcycle to a party and had a little bit of bhang. I was in no state to ride. She saw that and took the keys – I thought she was joking! I mean it was a Bullet! But she just got on and off we went, me in the backseat and my lady driving the bullet. I was thinking then, Man! I’m going to marry her! She’s the one!”

Sharing further on the Facebook page of Humans of Bombay, Vyas added. “This year on my birthday, I popped the question! She was so happy….and I swear even though I gave her a ring, it’s me who found the diamond!”
